Whether you live in the country or the city, have your own horse, ride at a nearby stable, or simply love horses, this interest project will help you better understand horses, increase your riding skills, explore careers and hobbies that involve horses, and share your love of horses and horsemanship with others.

The video, All Things Horses, will give you a great start on your way toward earning the Horse Lovers and Horse Sense badges. For instance, you will learn skills such as grooming, walking, and shoeing a horse. You will learn the rules of horsemanship, the spectacular birth of a foal, and the different breeds of horses, including wild horses. You will also experience different types of riding such as Western, Rodeo, Transport, and English. Check with your troop leader for more information on this high adventure activity..
